My producing endeavors center on uplifting marginalized voices on stage and on screen. As a voice specialist, it is important for me to ask and assess, “Who’s voice is missing from this project?”

Producing doesn’t always typically happen during 9-5 business hours. I strive to make personal connections with my community partners, colleagues, and collaborators at any opportune time, while striving to be urgent, transparent, and effective in meeting all appropriate deadlines.

I see various similarities between directing and producing. I am, however, most excited by both of these roles because of their abilities to make important voices visible.
